True Vine is born from the powerful image of Jesus as the true and only source of life, strength, and spiritual nourishment. In the same way that a leaf cannot grow apart from the vine, apart from Him, we can do nothing.
In John 15, God the Father is the Gardener who lovingly prunes and cultivates His vineyard so that every branch may bear more fruit. We, as believers, are those branches. Our purpose is to know Christ and make Him known. Remaining in Him, producing fruit through faith, love, obedience, and a life transformed by the Holy Spirit.
We are Jake and Marissa, the founders of True Vine. Since giving our lives to Jesus, we've watched Him transform every area of our lives. We've come to believe that faith isn't something reserved for Sunday mornings. A genuine relationship with Christ and His word changes how we eat, how we dress, how we spend our time, how we care for creation, and how we steward the bodies God has entrusted to us.
In 1 Corinthians 3:17, we're reminded that God's temple is holy, and that we are that temple. We believe caring for what God has given us, including the way we present ourselves, is one expression of our love and reverence for Him. Clothing has carried significance since the beginning. After the fall, God Himself clothed Adam and Eve, demonstrating both His mercy and His provision.
At True Vine, we believe God's Word is meant to be saturated in every area of our lives, not left on a shelf. All of our designs are created to remind you of God's promises, be a light in the darkness, spark conversations about Jesus, and point hearts toward salvation in Him.
Just as the criminal on the cross prayed, "Remember me, Lord," we also want to remember Him in everything we do. Our hope is that every piece we create becomes a quiet reminder of Christ and the good news of the gospel, not only for the person wearing it, but for everyone they encounter.
